I first met Ute in 2003 when she came to the beauty salon I was working at. She had booked a manicure and we immediately hit it off. I then became a mobile beauty therapist and our friendship bloomed. I used to take Ute to the airport and collect her from her many holiday’s. We had long discussions when I popped in to tint her eyebrows and give her makeup lessons. Her half hour appointments sometimes became four hours while we chatted away in the afternoons. My last phone call to Ute was on Tuesday 22nd December 2020. She was in good spirits. I’m going to miss my friend so much. Ute was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She was a strong character and knew exactly what she wanted. Rest well Ute you’ve left your strength and positivity with me forever.
