When finances were tight Mum let rooms during the week and made many good friends in this way.  As she was alone at this time the lodgers were great company for her and she kept in touch with some of them until today.  5 Priest Hill was known as Ute's Shangri-La residence and lodgers had to fill in a form but this wasn't taken too seriously as you can see from the pictures here.
