Ute was our neighbour, about 10 houses down the road. We only met her this past year, and never met her in person; but we corresponded regularly via the phone and letters/cards since lockdown began. She seemed just such a lovely lady - very thoughtful and kind. My children and I will miss making pictures and baking for her. We will always remember her from her colourful handrail outside her house - it always made her house seem such a such happy place and gave an insight into the lovely person inside.
